Questions about shipping
here you will find some common questions about shipping Mr. Fuss products
Which parcel service is used for shipping?
In Germany we ship your order with DHL. Shipments going abroad are transported there by the respective DHL partners.
Do I have free return shipping?
If you do not want to keep your order, you can of course return it to us. The cost of the return depends on the individual circumstances. In addition to the type and scope of the order, legal aspects play a role. Check our terms and conditions and the detailed shipping information.
Can I track my shipment?
Absolutely, and you should always do this. We will send you the tracking number on the evening of the shipping day. We ask you to keep an eye on the delivery when your order arrives.
Especially for shipments abroad, it can happen that the delivery does not arrive as expected. If you proactively monitor the delivery as the recipient, you can avoid unwanted returns to us and the associated costs.
How long does delivery take?
We ship every order on weekdays on the day of receipt by 1 pm, or on the next business day.
Our shipping partner DHL has short transit times of 2 days, so your order can often arrive the next day.
Questions about ordering
Here are some common questions about ordering in general
What payment methods are available to me?
The available payment methods are very individual and depend on the specific circumstances of the order. Payment methods may vary depending on the delivery country. You will find details on the relevant page.
Can I change my order after placing it?
It depends on the circumstances. We have very fast processing. If you order shortly before the daily deadline at 1 pm, e.g. at 12 pm, and then think of a change half an hour later, it may be too late because the order is already in the shipping process.
The outlook is better if you order shortly after the processing deadline, then you have until 1 pm on the next business day.
In any case you can always write to us. Use this form. Or the one here on the page.
What happens if I change my mind?
You don't want to keep your order after receiving it? No problem – for this case the law provides the right of withdrawal.
According to this, as a customer in mail order you should have the same opportunity to inspect a product before purchase as you would in a retail store.
But please be careful not to confuse this right with the ability to fully try out the products. Especially for cosmetics, once opened they are of course no longer resalable.
If you are unexpectedly not satisfied with one of our products, just write to us. We always find a solution.
I have a discount that is not being accepted?
Not all discounts can be combined with each other. That will be the cause in 99% of cases. Please check whether you are trying to combine different discounts in your order.
If you are not sure, feel free to write to us!
To the Callus Control Concept
Here are the frequently asked questions and answers about Mr. Fuss system care
I feel like I need so much of the solution?
With correct use, the opposite should be the case. It all comes down to the correct technique. Please make sure you split the cotton wool into extra thin layers before use. The thinner the better. Moisten the thin layer of cotton wool with the solution and press the now damp cotton wool against the skin using the cap of the solution, so that the skin shimmers through the damp cotton wool.
That is correct, and you really only need a few ml of the solution per application.
Can I apply the Mr. Fuss Solution No. 1 or No. 4 to open blisters or open wounds?
Unfortunately no. You must not apply the solution to injured or irritated skin. Please wait until the affected areas have completely healed before use.
Why does the cotton wool fall off, does not stick?
This happens when the cotton wool isn't properly soaked with the solution, meaning the liquid doesn't have enough contact with the skin. Please separate the cotton wool into layers as thin as possible before use – the thinner the better. You only need the cotton wool to "hold" the solution in place on the skin. When the cotton wool is nice and thin, and the solution has been applied correctly, you can see the skin shimmering through the moistened cotton wool!
Can I use the solutions during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
All Mr. Fuss products are ordinary cosmetic products. For cosmetic products there are generally no special considerations regarding pregnancy. If you want to be on the safe side, consult your doctor. You can find the ingredients of each product on the respective product page under the "Ingredients, INCI" tab.
The bottle says risk of blindness?
The Mr. Fuss Active Solution (No. 1 and No. 4) contains an alkaline solution. Proper handling is urgently required. Mr. Fuss solution should also be stored out of reach of children. However, if you follow the instructions, handling is safe. Please take a look in your cupboard with household cleaners and read the warning labels on the individual products. Even the simple shampoo in the shower seems not entirely harmless on closer inspection. Safety instructions are required by law, and also serve manufacturers as a limitation of liability!
How long do the solutions last?
For products that have an unopened shelf life of more than 3 years, it is sufficient to indicate the shelf life after opening. In the case of Mr. Fuss Solution No. 1 and No. 4, the shelf life is guaranteed for 12 months after opening. You can recognise this information by the open jar symbol on the packaging with the corresponding number of months (e.g. "12M").
Can athlete's foot be treated with it?
Unfortunately a clear no! Athlete's foot is a skin condition! Please do not experiment on yourself. See a specialist!
Can I also do the treatment without cotton wool?
Sorry, that's only possible in theory! In fact, the cotton wool "holds" the solution on the skin so it can work its way in. If you simply applied the solution directly to the skin, it would flow everywhere. The solution has the consistency of water. The advantage of the cotton wool (when moistened) is that it keeps the solution in place – as mentioned, it essentially "holds" it there – but it doesn't absorb (like cellulose would, for example) and therefore doesn't affect the effectiveness.
Is the treatment also suitable for diabetics?
Given the fact that diabetics and at-risk patients (for example people taking blood thinners) must not injure themselves, the anti-callus, anti-regrowth system is certainly an interesting alternative due to its gentle removal and treatment method, and represents a significant advantage for this group of people when it comes to removing cuticles and treating calluses. To be safe, please speak to your doctor beforehand.
Is the treatment also suitable for children?
If your child is older than 3 years, there is generally nothing against it. However, we have often noticed that parents want to treat one or another perceived "flaw" in their children for aesthetic reasons. Please consider carefully whether cuticle removal actually brings physical benefits for your child. Many things resolve on their own during development. We believe that interfering with the body's natural regulation should only be done when there is a real reason for it! Please also keep in mind that you should first do tests with reduced application times on your child.
I have a corn, will the solution remove it?
There are some good reasons why you should leave the removal to someone who does it professionally. The corn consists exclusively of callus. Inside there is usually a core of compressed callus that needs to be removed. Our advice: please see a specialist or a pedicurist for a corn.
Does the solution also help with ingrown toenails?
Ingrown toenails are a problem that women in particular often deal with. The most common cause of the ingrowth is aesthetic in nature. Toenails are cut "round" for cosmetic reasons. The nails end up too short and hardened cuticle skin then forms at the transition to the nail bed. If the nail cannot grow out properly, inflammation can also occur. You can dissolve these hardened areas in time with the solution. The nail can then grow out of the nail bed more easily again. Please always cut your toenails straight across (level with the toe). This is healthier and prevents the problem described. If you already have a problematic condition, please consult a doctor.
Does No. 1 or No. 4 also help with warts?
No. A wart is usually a viral infection of the skin and should be treated by a specialist or a qualified carer.
Hardly anything comes off – am I doing something wrong?
Please note that our system comes with 2 solutions of different strengths. The results can vary accordingly. Please also note:
1. The treated skin areas must be dry
Make sure the skin is dry. Sometimes a foot bath is taken before application, for example. This is unfavourable for the treatment because the skin has already absorbed water and the solution cannot penetrate the skin.
2. Only use a thin layer of cotton wool
Sometimes a thick cotton wool ball is used. Although the cotton wool is moistened with the solution, unfortunately too little solution reaches the skin area to be treated. A good indicator is the fact that you can clearly see the moistened skin shimmering through the cotton wool. The thinner the cotton wool (it only serves as a carrier), the lower the consumption of solution.
My fingernails are turning yellowish?
Unfortunately this can occasionally be observed in users. These slight discolourations are usually associated with very soft nails and excessive exposure times. The discolouration resolves itself within a few days. To avoid this, you can cover the nails with a rich cream before treatment. Even better: apply the solution directly to painted nails.
Do I no longer need to go to the pedicurist?
That depends on what services your foot care provider has been doing for you so far. By using Mr. Fuss Solution you cannot replace the full range of services a foot care studio offers. Besides, visiting a foot care professional can also be a matter of "pampering" yourself.
Should you bathe your feet beforehand?
No. This is one of the most common sources of error. Please apply the Mr. Fuss solution directly to dry skin. If the skin is moist (which is the case after bathing), the solution cannot work well. The result could be unsatisfactory.
This is the correct way: Treat the cuticles and calluses on your hands and feet with Mr. Fuss. Afterwards, a relaxing foot bath can replace the rinsing process, for example. Your feet will thank you.
What is the difference between No. 1 and No. 4?
What is the difference between No. 1 and No. 4?
Basically, the two solutions differ mainly in the intensity of their effect. Those who have discovered the benefits of gentle manicure and pedicure without the use of sharp or rough tools may want to use the procedure with more intensity.
While No. 4 has a normal keratolytic (i.e. callus-dissolving) effect, No. 1 is noticeably stronger.
For beginners we recommend using No. 4 or our Starter Kit, which contains both solutions.
Do I need to leave the solution on longer for thick calluses?
Excessively long exposure times lead to the treated skin areas drying out. The callus then dries again and cannot be removed. Better: To achieve efficient removal with thick calluses, you can re-moisten the cotton wool with the solution shortly before the intended removal to achieve a stronger effect.
If necessary, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment at intervals of a few days.
How often should I do the treatment?
The best results are achieved when the callus is removed layer by layer using this gentle method. We recommend starting with one treatment every 1-2 weeks if there is a lot of callus. This way it is reduced layer by layer. After some time, one treatment every 1-2 months or even less is sufficient.
